A.R.Rahman has worked for 11 months for this album and based on what we have heard, its worth all the hard work.

The number 'Tere Bina' has Aishwarya Rai dancing in the backdrop of the beautiful Thirumalai Naicker Mahal,Madurai, which is one of Maniratnam's favourite locations.
The Mahal was the backdrop for the melody ''Kannalane'' in Bombay. A.R.Rahman gives us a brief glimpse of his prowess in Hindustani music in this teaser. This song has a hit written all over it.

The next song is set in a rainy mood,with Aishwarya Rai doing a solo. Rahman showcases his talent in folk music with this danceable number. The Guru Trailer combines stunning visuals with a rustic background score. Rahman's score reflects the combative spirit of the the lead role and has a heavy influence of Gujrati music. Simply put,the music takes the trailer to another level.
